TRIGGER POINT THERAPY

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger points are defined as a taut band within skeletal muscle tissue that is hypersensitive and irritable.  They may cause pain that sometimes refer to other areas of the body and can also result in stiffness, tenderness and other musculoskeletal problems. Trigger point therapy involves the therapist applying and releasing pressure to these targeted points in order to break down or deactivate them.
